Most practices have one nurse and few medical assistance (MA) in order to keep the payroll low. However, our office has three nurses present each day. Their total years of experience exceeds 50 years. Therefore, you can be sure that they have a clue when you are discussing your medical issues. Cheryl, Lynn, and Mindy each come with a wealth of experience both involving hospital and outpatient care.
Carol, the office manager, has been operating the practice since the inception in 1990. Prior to that she worked in the Community General Hospital's business office and lab for more than 15 years. Her knowledge of insurances and medical billing is impressive, making her an asset to the average patient.
In a family like small office like ours, everyone helps with every task just as we all pitch in at home. Therefore, you will be surprised with the knowledge level of each staff in matters that is not their specialty.
Amanda, our physician assistant joined us in 2009. A graduate of Desales University, she is licensed to treat patients, order labs and studies, and write prescriptions. She assists Dr. Rahmanian with his hospital and office practice working as a team most of the time, and operating semi-autonomously when needed.
